The Great Race of the Snail and the Gazelle 🐌🦌

Hello, how are you? I hope you are doing well.
Today I want to tell you a story about how the Snail and Gazelle Race happened. It is a good story to help you go to sleep peacefully, and maybe even dream about this story.

In the heart of the forest, the animals decided to organize a race. Gina, the gazelle, was known for being the fastest of all, and everyone expected her to win easily. But, to the surprise of many, Charlie the snail, the slowest of all, decided to join the competition.

When Charlie approached the starting line, some animals couldn’t help but laugh. «How are you going to compete against Gina?» they asked in disbelief. But Charlie was not intimidated and calmly replied: «The race is not always won by the fastest, but by the one who never gives up.»

The judge of the race, the wise Owl, smiled at Charlie’s bravery and gave the starting signal. Gina shot off like lightning, moving with grace and speed, while Charlie began his journey slowly, crawling on the ground with determination.

The animals continued to laugh at seeing Charlie move so slowly. Gina, confident in her speed, decided to stop and rest under the shade of a large tree. “Charlie will never catch up with me,” she thought as she relaxed, enjoying the forest breeze.

Meanwhile, Charlie did not stop. He moved forward little by little, but without stopping. His body felt tired, but his spirit was strong. As he moved forward, the animals began to notice his effort and stopped laughing. Now they watched him with admiration.

Gina, seeing that Charlie was closer than she had imagined, was startled and quickly jumped to continue. However, in her hurry to win, she tripped on some branches and got trapped. She twisted and tried to free herself, but she could not move with the same agility as before.

Charlie, for his part, continued to advance slowly, with each step firmer than the last. At last, he reached the finish line, crossing it proudly. The forest animals greeted him with cheers and applause. Gina, who was still struggling to free herself from the branches, arrived next, humiliated but also surprised by Charlies victory.

Judge Owl approached Charlie and said loudly so that all the animals could hear: “Today we have learned that the race is not always won by the fastest, but by the one who never stops trying. Perseverance and constant effort are more valuable than speed.”

Gina, still recovering from her defeat, approached Charlie. “Congratulations, Charlie,” she said humbly. “You have taught me an important lesson. I promise that next time I will not be so confident.”

Charlie, smiling, replied: “We all have something to learn, Gina. The important thing is that we never stop trying.”

And so, in the forest, everyone learned that true victory is not in being the fastest, but in being persistent and never giving up. From that day on, Charlie was admired for his courage and perseverance, and Gina for her humility and willingness to learn.

A story of abuse and humiliation with redemption

On this occasion, I want to tell you a story of abuse and humiliation with redemption. The story takes place in an elementary school where there was typically a group of abusive boys and a girl who received their attacks silently and without protest.

In a small town called Armonía, there lived two children with very different personalities. Carla, a kind and humble girl, was always willing to help her classmates at school. Martín, on the other hand, was very proud and often made fun of others, especially Carla, because he thought that being nice was a sign of weakness.

At school, Martin led a group of children who made fun of everything and everyone, especially Carla. They called her «Carla the Complaisant» because she always offered her help to everyone. Carla felt sad and alone, but she remained kind, hoping that one day Martín and his group would change their attitude.

One day, the class teacher, Mr. Perez, noticed that something was not right. He decided to talk to Carla after class. Carla, with tears in her eyes, told Mr. Pérez everything. The teacher, very wisely, decided to organize a special activity for the class. He called Samuel, Carla’s grandfather, who was known in the town for his stories full of teachings.

Samuel told them a story about a young deer named Lucas, who was very proud and always boasted of being the most beautiful and fastest in the forest. But one day, he got caught in a trap and, not wanting to ask for help, he was about to lose everything. In the end, when the other animals in the forest helped him free himself, he understood that humility and friendship were much more important than his pride.

After hearing Samuel’s story, the children thought. Martin, in particular, felt ashamed of his behavior. He realized that he had been arrogant and cruel to Carla for no reason.

The next day, Martin approached Carla during recess. With his head lowered, he apologized for all the times he had made her feel bad. Carla, with her big heart, accepted his apology and offered him her friendship.

From that day on, the class at Harmony’s school changed. The children began to support each other, following Carla’s example and remembering the story of Lucas the deer. Martín became a great friend of Carla and learned to be humble and respectful of others.

Mr. Pérez and Samuel were very proud of their students. They knew they had learned a valuable lesson about pride, humility, and the importance of treating everyone with respect and empathy.

And so, in the small town of Armonía, friendship and humility flourished, proving that even the proudest hearts can change for the better.
